Spain Consumer Confidence

The Consumer Confidence survey in Spain is conducted by phone and includes 1,000 people over the age of 16, who are representative of the country’s general population as a whole. The survey is designed to elicit information about the respondent’s current economic and financial situation, savings intentions, as well as anticipated changes in his or her overall and personal economic situation, as well as big purchases of durable items. The index indicates the difference in percentages of optimistic and pessimistic individuals. The index evaluates consumer confidence on a scale ranging from 0 to 200, with 0 indicating severe lack of confidence, 100 indicating neutrality, and 200 indicating high trust.
