I’ve tried tons of power banks — this is the one I reach for every time I travel

I’m probably one of the most type-A travelers you’ll ever meet. I use packing cubes to stay organized and hard-sided luggage to keep my things secure (and to avoid buying another suitcase for as long as I can). I also throw an all-in-one power bank into my bag to keep cable clutter at bay and save myself stress. My pick? The BioLite Charge 100 Max is the only power bank I’ve used that juices up my phone, tablet, headphones and laptop simultaneously with plenty of battery life to spare.

BioLite

If you travel with your family or just need an all-in-one charger that won’t leave you with zero battery life to spare, this powerful gadget will keep all your devices good to go.

Have you ever been on a flight with your kids when their tablets were running low, but so was your laptop and maybe even your spouse’s phone? There’s nothing worse than figuring out whose devices get priority. Well, with this power bank, you don’t have to choose. You’ll be able to fast-charge up to five devices at once, so no one gets stuck staring at a blank screen for long. Its 25,000-mAh capacity means it can easily handle laptops, tablets, phones, earbuds and smartwatches.

I’ve used this power bank to charge my MacBook Air, AirPods Pro, iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch at the same time. Even after it charged each device to 100%, less than half of its battery had drained. That’s pretty insane!

The BioLite Charge 100 Max can charge a laptop up to two times, a smartphone up to seven times, a tablet up to three times, earbuds up to 36 times and a smartwatch up to 38 times. What I love even more, though, is that this gizmo gives you multiple ways to charge. It has three USB-C ports, one USB-A port and a wireless charging pad up top — especially handy if you forget your charging cable at home.

Well, will you look at that — no more choosing which device is worthy of your power bank. (BioLite)

I’m not the only one who’s impressed. Several shoppers say the BioLite has become their go-to tech accessory for lengthy road trips, flights and outdoor activities.

“Been using one for a little over a month now as I’m traveling as a photographer, filmmaker and music producer,” said one fan. “I love working outdoors and normally in remote places without power, and this thing comes in super clutch for my work. It’s saved me on multiple shoots. I’ve used to power cameras all day, charge my MacBook Pro, and pretty much everything else that needs power. Also, the ability to take this on a plane is huge!”

“Between the flawless [and] fast wireless charging and the super fast USB-C ports, this is the battery pack above all battery packs,” another impressed shopper said. “I’ve been looking to finally upgrade my 5-year-old battery pack and this one does not disappoint. I’ve charged my phone and iPad to full charge three and two times, respectively, and barely drained this thing.”

If you go hiking or camping regularly, the BioLite Charge 100 Max might become a constant companion: “I’ve had this for a couple of weeks now and love it!” an outdoorsy shopper wrote. “[It] charges my phone multiple times. I do a lot of camping and [am] always charging lights, phones or insect repellents. Works fantastic!”

Of course, since this power bank packs in a lot of juice, note that it’s bulkier than others — it weighs in at about 1.3 pounds. “It is fairly hefty, but that just means it holds a long battery charge and can charge up multiple devices,” noted a fan. Agreed another: “I took it backpacking a few weeks ago — great device, but really quite heavy.”

This power bank weighs about a pound and charges up to three devices at once with two USB-A outputs and one USB-C. There’s no wireless charger, but it has enough juice to revive a phone up to five times.

“Took this on a three-week travel abroad,” one five-star reviewer wrote. “Came in handy for keeping my wife and I’s phones charged in areas where outlets were not available.”
