Marcus Smith, previously one of the creative directors on Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, will now lead Wolverine as the new creative director. Meanwhile, Mike Daly, who served as a game director on Rift Apart, has been appointed as the game director.
Background On Leadership Changes
Brian Horton’s exit is notable, considering his experience as a game director on Rise of the Tomb Raider and his time at Infinity Ward. He will now take on the role of creative director for Perfect Dark, which is being co-developed by The Initiative and Crystal Dynamics.
Since its announcement in 2021, there have been few official updates on Marvel’s Wolverine. In December 2023, leaked details from cyber thieves generated speculation and interest in the game.
