Chicago Bulls guard Jevon Carter paid $1.5 million for a five-bedroom, 3,500-square-foot town home in a gated community in the West Town neighborhood last month.

A west suburban native who starred at Proviso East High School, Carter in July signed a three-year, $20 million deal with the Bulls after previously playing for the Milwaukee Bucks.

The purchase is Carter’s second since signing with the Bulls. In July, Carter paid $965,000 for a three-bedroom, 2,535-square-foot condominium in a West Loop high-rise.

Now, Carter has bought a second, larger Chicago home. Built in 2001, the town home has 3 1/2 bathrooms, two fireplaces, four levels of living space, a wide floor plan, high ceilings, custom finished glass-paneled staircases and a large primary bedroom suite. The town home also has a two-car garage with an electric vehicle charging station.

The town home first was listed in February for $1.625 million. The price then was reduced to $1.599 million in July.

Paul Gorney of eXp Realty represented Carter in his purchase. He did not respond to multiple requests for comment.

The town home had a $23,010 property tax bill in the 2023 tax year. It also has a $1,441 monthly homeowners association fee.
