Bulgaria Consumer Confidence

Bulgaria Consumer Confidence

Approximately 1200 respondents from both urban and rural areas are included in the consumer survey that is conducted 4 times a year on a rotational basis in Bulgaria. It contains 15 questions that pertain to the financial situation of the household, the general economic situation in the country, consumer prices, unemployment, major purchases, household savings, the financial situation of the household, purchasing a car, purchasing or building a home, and purchases for home improvements. A 12-month period of variable change is used in all assessments of the current condition or current tendency, as well as in all expectations.

A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the BGN while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the BGN.
