Hamline 37, Macalester 35: Hamline withstood a three-TD comeback in the fourth quarter by the host Scots and stopped a two-point conversion with 31 seconds remaining to hold on for the victory. The Pipers led 37-14 going into the fourth quarter before the Scots had scoring drives of 80, 80 and 65 yards.
Bethel 56, Carleton 7: Cooper Drews passed for 422 yards and six TDs to lead the host Royals past the Knights. Drews completed 38 of 44 passes and also ran for A TD. Joey Kidder had 11 receptions for 183 yards and three TDs and Micah Niewald caught 14 passes for 108 yards and a TD for the Royals.
Concordia (Moorhead) 38, Augsburg 7: Owen Miller caught a 38-yard TD pass late in the first half and returned the second-half kickoff 89 yards to fuel the host Cobbers’ victory over the Auggies. Concordia’s Cooper Mattern passed for 251 yards and three TDs.
Gustavus Adolphus 21, St. Olaf 10: River Wood ran for 208 yards, including an 87-yard touchdown, to lead the host Gusties past the Oles. De’Marrion Brown added a 61-yard TD run for Gustavus, which rushed for 314 yards. Landen Goebel had two of the Gusties’ four interceptions.
Northwestern (St. Paul) 35, Martin Luther 7: Luke Malamisuro returned a punt 48 yards for a TD and Jayden Goodwin returned an interception 35 yards in a three-minute span in the third quarter to spark the host Eagles past the Knights.
St. John’s 70, St. Scholastica 0: Aaron Syverson passed for 346 yards and five touchdowns and Will Blakey rushed for three TDs to lead the Johnnies, ranked No. 3 in D-III, over the host Saints in Duluth.
