France has the seventh-largest economy in the world and the second-largest economy in the Eurozone. Its industrial and agricultural basis is wide and diverse and includes aircraft, military equipment, perfumes, pharmaceuticals, as well as the production of wine and beef. It also produces wheat and wheat products. At least 82 million foreign visitors every year make France the most visited country in the world, and tourism contributes to France generating the third-highest amount of foreign revenue in the world. Services are the most important sector of the economy, accounting for 79% of total GDP, with industry accounting for 19%. France’s agricultural sector contributes only 2% to the country’s GDP, despite the fact that it is the world’s second-largest exporter of agricultural products.
